4-1-07 Season Comes To A Close

WOW, What a great season! I am so proud of these boys for what they have been able to do this year. Our first game at nationals we lost 2-1 to the York Devils (PA), but played with them the whole game. We had several great chances, just could not finish. Our only goal came on the PP. The second Game vs. The Butler Bulldogs (PA) was much better getting the 5-3 win. Our PK was awesome as we took 10 penalties to their 2 but that could not stop us. Game 3 was the decider for us to move on to the quarterfinals where again lots of great chances but lost 3 -1. All the Alliance (TX) goals came on delayed penalties. We had a few point blank chances but hit posts or shot over the net. Our Captain Patrick Castagna won the shooter part of the skills competition lighting up all the goalies he would face. All in all a great event that everyone associated with this team should be very proud of. Thank you all for everything this season. Good luck in the future and I hope to see you around the rink.
